Scenario
Inspired by a real-life legal case in Hong Kong, THE PROSECUTOR tells the story of a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being accused. Despite the confession, the experienced police officer and later prosecutor (Donnie Yen) who is handling the case is convinced of the man’s innocence and conducts his own investigation. He risks his career and his life to bring the real perpetrator to justice.
